Terms of Use

The agreement between you and Padelist. Same content as the in-app Terms of Use.

Effective date: 05.05.2026

These Terms govern your use of the Padelist app. By creating an account, signing in, or using any feature you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. The service

Padelist is a platform for padel players: finding partners, organizing games and tournaments, maintaining a profile, chatting, and exploring clubs and friends. Some features may be limited depending on your country, app version, or account status.

2. Eligibility

You may use Padelist if you are at least 13 years old (16+ in EU countries where required by law) and have legal capacity to enter digital agreements. Younger users may use the app only with parental or legal-guardian consent.

3. Account

  • One account belongs to one individual — multiple accounts are not allowed.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of your profile data and for keeping access secure.
  • You are responsible for all activity carried out through your account.
  • You may not transfer your account to anyone else, sell it, or rent it out.

4. Acceptable behaviour

  • Treat other players, clubs, and organizers with respect — no aggression, insults, or discrimination.
  • No harassment, threats, spam, fraud, or illegal content.
  • No attempts to game the rating system (fixed results, fake bot accounts).
  • Do not use the app for political campaigning, unauthorized advertising, or distributing malware.
  • No interference with how the app operates, no bypassing protections, no exploiting vulnerabilities.

5. Games, tournaments, and ratings

  • Game and tournament organizers are responsible for proper setup and managing participants.
  • Ranked match results affect player level according to the app's internal logic. We reserve the right to adjust levels when we detect abuse.
  • The organizer or authorized participant is responsible for the accuracy of recorded scores; other participants can dispute a result via support.
  • Padelist does not guarantee the availability of courts, equipment, or referees — these are arranged by participants or clubs themselves.

6. Content and communications

You retain rights to content (photos, text, voice, gameplay content) you publish in Padelist. You grant Padelist a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to store, process, display, and technically adapt that content as needed to run the service. We may remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law.

7. AI features

Padelist uses OpenAI to automatically generate match descriptions, announcements, and result summaries. AI content may contain inaccuracies, exaggerations, or irrelevant details — this is normal for generative models. AI text is not an official statement by Padelist or by participants. You can report incorrect AI text via support and we will remove or regenerate it.

8. Sports activity

Padel is a physical activity with injury risk. Padelist only helps organize the game; we are not responsible for physical injuries, property damage, or other consequences of real-world games. Before playing, make sure you are physically prepared, have insurance, and that the venue is safe. Play responsibly.

9. Intellectual property

The Padelist name, logo, interface design, source code, and documentation belong to the Padelist team and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

10. Restrictions and termination

We may temporarily restrict, suspend, or fully terminate access to an account in case of breach of these Terms, abuse, security threats, or legal requirements. In most cases we will notify the user beforehand, but we are not obliged to do so for serious violations. You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time.

11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Padelist is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind (express or implied), including warranties of fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted operation, error-free behaviour, or conformity to your expectations. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data. Padelist's aggregate liability, if any, is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months (if any) or USD 50, whichever is lower.

12. App Store specifics (iOS)

If you downloaded Padelist from the Apple App Store: Apple is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for the app or its content. Apple is a third-party beneficiary and may enforce these Terms against you as the end user. Support, refunds, and product claims are handled by us, not Apple. You also confirm that you comply with the Apple Media Services terms.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine, excluding conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes are heard by the competent courts of Ukraine, except where consumer-protection law in your country provides otherwise. If any provision of these Terms is held invalid, the remaining provisions stay in force.

14. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms. We'll notify you in the app about material changes. Continued use of Padelist after an update means you accept the new version. If you do not agree, stop using the app and delete your account.
